Trekking through the CHT often involves travelling by river. After a couple of hours sitting on the floor of this small boat on out way to Singpa, as beautiful as it may be (open the map it really is worth looking at), we decided to stretch our legs and walk along the Sangu river bank. Our bags and local guide stay with the boatmen as he steers the boat around the rocky bends.
