During our seven day trek we stayed with host families, a wonderful opportunity to observe village life. This is taken in a Khumi village just outside Tindu. Earlier I posted our host oma with one of her grandchildren, this is just a portrait of Oma, taken while she was cooking our breakfast. Her main role in the family is to look after the children while the younger women are at work in the fields.
