This is a new type of tulip, don't rmrmber the name but the colour was quite diferent that the others.

Beautiful spring flowers in the Keukenhof, it is always a pleasure to go to that park, the colour combination is fantastic.

African Beauty
One of the lovely waitresses at the Spier Hotel, where dinner is served in open tents or pavillions, service with a smile.
Colourful Head dress
This photo was taken on the grounds of the Spier Hotel in a place not far from Capetown. It is a huge complex with lots of activities in the evenings, this was one of the colourful dancers,what i noticed is that it was quite dark and he still had his sunglasses on.

The next few photos i wiill be posting were made last year in Den Helder, it was the first time that "Sail" was held there. It was a beautiful sight seeing all those tall ships with their sails out.
Natural colour Zebras
Took this one at the Aquila game drive in Ceres not far from Cape Town, the ground (dirt) there is very red so the stripes of the Zebras have a reddish colour, so i just gave them back their original colour.
Cheetah
This picture ws taken on the Spier hotel grounds, they have a conservation program for deserted or wounded Cheetahs. after ther are cured and recovered they are returned to the wild.
Kiss of fire.
I don't remember where i took this picture ( i made so many) but it was in a bird santuary. I guess this was a lucky shot.

Just a close up of the national flower of South Africa. The flowering period was almost over but i think it still looked pretty
Tiger in Beads
This tiger is made of beads, unbelievable how creative these african people are, and it was quite big,about 1,20 meters high,there were other amimals made with beads as well even a giraffe, but i liked the tiger best,
Buttterfly
While having lunch in a beautiful rstaurant on mountain side in Franshoek, saw this butterfly perched on this flower. I just to take a picture.
Hazy Mills
The frost is gone but still wanted to share this picture taken at the 3 Mills ( "Drie Molens") i n Leidsendam, it was a hazy day, kind of misty gives the photo a special effect.
Pretty face
This lady was one of the waitresses at Spier, they all wore a hair decorations like a crown.
Three Degrees??
These l three ladies formed a singing group, they were good dancers as well, good entertainment.
Zulu Dancer
At the hotel Spier there were different kinds of shows while having dinner, this is one of the dancers.
Moon over Kinderdijk
The title says it all, moon over Kinderdijk, that was such a beautiful sight, by this time my whole body was frozen.
Sunset Mill
Could not help taking this one, ( with frozen fingers) another sunset but still always beautiful, took this at Kinderdijk.
Winter's day in...Hol
Took a trip to Kinderdijk this afternoon, it was a beautiful sight seeing all these people skating on the ice.
Sunflower
This is African creative art, this sunflower is made of empty lemonade tin cans in the middle and plastic bags around it. Who think of this??
Smokey sunset
The day i took these photos there wa a big bush fire in the mountains near by, the dark "clouds' you see in the back ground is actually smoke but it gave the scene a nice effect,i thought.
