A house with history

Engeland,
Groot-Brittannië

The village of St Margarets-at-Cliffe is not only the village of our holiday home but also of this historically important house which was previously owned by Noel Coward, with Ian Fleming owning the adjacent house. If you read James Bond’s Moonraker, it’s clear that Fleming drew his inspiration from this beautiful location.
Noel Coward’s friends - Spencer Tracey and Katherine Hepburn were frequent visitors.

Noel Coward was an English playwright, composer, director, actor and singer, known for his wit, flamboyance, and what Time magazine called "a sense of personal style, a combination of cheek and chic, pose and poise". wikipedia
