Wow, was exactly my reaction as I entered through the main gate at the Brihadeeswara Temple. These women pilgrims, we can see by their red saris, are stopped in the tracks by the emotion of arriving at one of the most important temples in India. They were not sure whether to sing, pray or dance. Eventually they did all three.
