Hanuman and the priest

Uttar Pradesh,
India

It is believed that Lord Ram bathed here in the river with Laxman and Sita Ji For that reason Chitrakoot takes on one of the most important pilgrim places in India. A place I knew very little about until stumbling there two years ago on the eve of the Sita Ram festival.
Around the base of the holy Kamadgiri mountain runs an 8 kms walking path. Pilgrims after bathing in the ghats walk the 8 Kms. (parikrama) So did we, twice. The path of course has to be walked barefooted and along the 8 kms circular pathway are small temples devoted to Rama, Brahma, Vishnu and their incarnations.
Here a small temple devoted to Hanuman an devotee of Rama.
