Cheetah
The oh so beautiful cheetah, this was taken at the enclosure, where they take care of the orphan Cheetahs at Aguila. The project is as soon as they are old enough they will be released out into the reserve.
Elephants
My favourite Animals Elephants, so impressive,they were having a dring at the lake.
Lion
Lion on the run..looks like he wanted to charge us, luckily was far away, i zoomed in of course.
Charging Rhino
We were standing outside the jeep and all of a sudden this Rhino started to run at us and then stopped suddenly, that was scarry.
Grazing Zebras
These grazing Zebras always makes nice shots.
Rhine and Baby
A wonderful sight how these animals live together.
Game Drive and resort
If you want to go on a wild life safari without taking Malaria pills, this is the place to go. Zebras
I visited a game resort not far from Stellenbosch called Aquila (see tip)Lots of wild life, was fantastic.
Building the nest
This weaver was busy building or cleaning up her (his) nest.
Weaver's nest
The weavers build their nest on branches hanging over the water.
Male Weaver
We were having lunch at a lake in Spier and these weavers know that they can get crumbs from the visitors so they fly back and fourth from their nest.
Shy
Aren't they cute? i will stop now, i made so many it is hard to make a choice, they are all so cute.
Lollipop
This little one was enjoying her lollipop.
Orphan Children
This group of children were having a day out, the wre from a home that is sponsered by German man, i spoke to him he has been doing this for ten years. The children were so happy they all wanted to have their picture taken, afterwards they sang "We wish you a Merry Cristmas" that was so beautiful.
Gordons Bay
Gordons Bay, this is such a wide beautiful beach, the day we were there was a fire in the moutains so the photo is a bit hazy, but never the lees beautiful.
Blue
Don't know the name of this flower bu it's pretty,t it grows wild, there were lots of them along side the river bed.
Giant Magnolia
This flower was taken from a huge tree, it was in full flower unbelievable.
Mountain Scene
This was taken on a cloudy day, the mountain with a Jaccaranda branch in the foregrund.
Jaccaranda Tree
These trees are very popular in Stellenbosch, they line the streets,looks so beautiful.
Crane Flower
Another popular flower of South Africa, the Crane flower, took this one with just a bit of sun ray on it ,gives a nice effect.
