The skyline of London has like many other cities changed dramatically over the past few years.
This is taken from the south-bank of the Thames. Londoners love to give our buildings names, here you see; the gherkin, the cheese grater and the walkie-talkie. When the walkie-talkie was first completed the concave design and mirrored glass had reflected powerful sun rays onto the street below melting cars! It was quickly re-named the walkie-scorchie and had to have an extensive and expensive refit of shades installed.
