Evisa is a picturesque village surrounded by forested hills and chestnut trees. Staying here a couple of days is recommended if you are a hiker you have walks through the forest and through the gorge close by. Two long distance trails run through the village, the Mare e Monti (which follows the west of the mountains) and Mare a Mare Nord (a coast to coast across central Corsica).
