Rickshaws (or rickshas) come in many shapes and formst: a runner draws a two-wheeled cart which seats one or two persons. A cycle rickshaw powered from the front or as in many places in Burma the seat is in the front and the bike behind.
The word rickshaw originates from the Japanese word jinrikisha (???, ? jin = human, ? riki = power or force, ? sha = vehicle), which literally means "human-powered vehicle
