Waking up to the news this morning that a powerful earthquake has hit Ecuador I had to think immediately back to the wonderful trip I made there a couple of years ago as RRvhJ, an experience I will never forget.

This is late one afternoon near Lake Ozogoche which sits at 4000m. A lake which is sacred to the local people, the rain was approaching fast and even though we were hurrying I had to stop for the light.
