During my stay on the island of Koh Phangan, we visited the Than Sedat Waterfalls, the road up there was very bad.
The government tried many times to asphalt it but when the rains come it all just wash away, still here and there they
put huge cement slabs which holds for some time.
I took this photo from the jeep, I could not tell if it is a man or woman putting tar between the cement slabs, all by hand in the heat.
Speaking of manual labor, and still a smile.
