Eventually we reached the top of Rajagiri Fort. The view looking back to Gingee town, the hillock that you see is Khrisnagiri fort, we climbed this yesterday. Now we see how much higher and steeper Rajagiri is. Our plan was to rest for a while at the top and have a picnic, (fruit and crackers) but that was not to be. There were so many monkeys around that just a rustle of the bag brought them running. So we had to make-do with water and save the fruit until we were safely in our monkey-free room.
