Flying kites - a favourite past-time of Indian children. Kites flown from the roofs of houses at sunset is a common sight at all times of the year, but in January the annual kite flying festival is held Makar Sankranti filling the sky with colour and design and also the festival where the kite-runner is chosen.
This is just days before Makar Sankranti and the excitement is beginning to show on everyones face.
