What a trip, what an experience...................From Amsterdam to Quito, we then cross the equator and finally reach the Mindo Cloud Forest and the Bellavista Lodge perched at 2200 mts The cloud forest, both secondary and primary, correctly speaking, is a subtropical pre-montane rain forest. The Bellavista reserve has at the present time 700 hectares and claims to have 330 species of birds.
