As we come to almost another year end and the excitement of who will be the next RRvhJ and our new co-ambassador, I had to think of my own year back in 2013 and my prize to Ecuador.
This was taken at 5000m close by the beautiful Lake Ozogoche which her home overlooks. I remember it was difficult to breathe in the thin air, and walking from the jeep to the lake felt more strenuous than the short 3 kilometers that it was. I can only imagine how hard life must be in this high barren environment.
