Het centraal station van Los Angeles (1939) wordt ook wel ’The Last of the Great Railway Stations’ genoemd. Het ligt vlakbij het stadhuis, Chinatown, Disney Concert Hall en The Broad en dient o.a. als begin/eindpunt van Amtrak’s Southwest Chief, Coast Starlight en Sunset Limited.
