Tijdens de rondrit over Isle of Wight komen we toch zomaar langs de enige overgebleven molen op Island of Wight. Bembridge Windmill.
Toch leuk om even naar toe te wandelen en omheen te lopen. Ben er als noord hollandse niet binnen geweest...
De molen is een National Trust Property en is ook een startpunt van landelijke wandelingen.
Er is een winterstop (nov - half mrt) wat openingstijden betreft,

Built around 1700 this is the only surviving windmill on the Island and has most of its original machinery intact on four floors which are accessed by steep steps. It was in operation throughout the Victorian period and only closed in 1913.
