Much like Central Park in New York City, Lumphini Park is a142-acre oasis in the heart of the Thai metropolis where city dwellers can jog, bike, rent paddleboats and picnic away from the cacophony of city life.
Unlike Central Park, Lumphini is home to a large population of lizards, the numbers have soared with about 400 lurking around the park’s ponds and canals. There is talk of some being moved as damage to plants and trees has been detected.
