One of the remarkable places That I visited in Peru has been Cruz del Condor. This pass is part of Colca Canyon and is estimated to be around 1200 metres deep! I will never forget this place for two reasons. First of all I have never been so afraid of heights as in Colca Canyon. There are no railings and when we did our trekking along the edge of this Canyon my body could simply not stop shaking. The other reason why I will never forget this place is because I didn’t go over the edge...wooohooooo......and we managed to see the mighty Condors just soar over our heads......Strolling around Cruz del Condor I came across this incredibly stunning scene...this was one of those moments that I had to rub my eyes a few times because I wasn’t sure if I was dreaming or not.....the Peruvian lady and this beautyful eagle practically side by side gazing at the depths of this magnificent place........!
