Another one of those safari perks - going to bed early and waking up early. I wouldn't miss a sunrise if I could help it. This was taken near the north gate.

Young hunters after hunting for breakfast near lake Eyasi. They managed to shoot several birds and squirrels with their bow and arrows, but they ran for about 7-8 kilometers to find them.

Laos has got to be the most tranquil, peaceful nation I have ever been to. The fact that it is, per capita, the most bombed country on earth is in no way evident to outsiders. It is also a gorgeous country with many beautiful spots. Yet ask anyone why one would go to Laos, and 9/10 times you'll hear it's for the tubing and rope swings.
