Just to prove that you really don't have to travel far to find quiet, photogenic places. This was taken just after Christmas in the quackjes water in Rockanje about an half hours drive from our home in Vlaardingen.
A walk through the Voornes Duinen, some bird-watching from the hides and an invigorating stroll along the wide, wild beach all in the warmth of the winter sun.

However, it is also nice to travel and tonight we board a flight to Kuala Lumpar, spending 5 nights in Georgetown, Penang before continuing on to our beloved Burma where we will enjoy four weeks of travelling, finding new places, revisiting favourite places and hopefully come back with a new lading of photographs.
